Supporting ourselves while supporting our communities

This is a series of conversations between people with different life experiences who have had to find ways to support themselves and their communities during a global pandemic. 

Watch our pairs of speakers as they reflect on the personal care practices and support structures that they have drawn on over the last year. You will be able to share your responses online in chat while you’re listening to the speakers' conversations. 

The series is Inspired by the Friendship Bench, an approach in which listening itself is an act of care. Through this series we aim to provide a safer space in which, you as participants, can listen and share your thoughts and ideas around building compassion and resilience in a period of change and upheaval.
