The Dale Room is a calm and relaxing space. With plenty of natural daylight and an unfussy décor, it’s a popular room for smaller events.

Whether you’re having a board meeting or running a workshop, we’ll do everything we can to help you make it a success.

The Dale Room is 8.8 m by 6.5 m. It’s 2.53 m from floor to ceiling at its highest point and 2.4 m at its lowest point. The doorway is 1.71 m wide and 2.05 m high.

If you’re bringing anything into the Dale Room, you’ll need to know the measurements along the route on the way in. These are: goods lift: 1.54 m by 1.95 m. Staff corridor door: 1.64 m by 2.05 m. Staff corridor: 1.13 m wide. Door at end of staff corridor: 0.87 m by 2.13 m.

All our rooms come with a data projector, projection screen, laptop and wifi. We can supply a PA system if you need one.

The Dale Room has wheelchair access and an induction loop. There is an adapted toilet on this level. Guests with assistance dogs are very welcome to bring them along.

The Atrium

The Atrium is a light, airy and flexible space just inside the main doors of Wellcome Collection on Euston Road. Ideal for receptions and dinners, it’s home to one of Turner Prizewinner Antony Gormley’s distinctive metal sculptures. Cast from the artist’s own body, the life-size figure hangs upside down from the ceiling.

Whether you’re running a launch event or thanking your staff for their hard work, we’ll do everything we can to help make your evening a success.

The Henry Wellcome Auditorium

The Henry Wellcome Auditorium is a tiered theatre space for 154 people. It has a raised stage area for nine speakers. With comfortable seats and plenty of legroom, it’s ideal for everything from film previews to shareholders’ meetings.

Features include two aisles – making life much easier when you’re running a microphone around to take questions from an audience.

The auditorium comes with use of the Williams Lounge – ideal for registration, small exhibitions, networking or drinks receptions.

Whether you’re having an AGM or putting on a panto, we’ll make sure your day runs like clockwork.

All the seats have pull-out armrest tables for taking notes. 

The auditorium is 16.26 m long and 10.57 m wide. It’s 5.6 m high at the screen end. The doorway is 1.45 m wide and 2.01 m high.

The stage is 5.46 m wide, 1.96 m deep and 0.2 m high. 

The top table is 1.82 m long by 0.74 m wide. It seats nine speakers.

You may also like to know there’s 1.71 m between the stage and the bottom of the screen. And it’s 2.44 m from the stage to the front row.

If you’re hiring one of our venues, we can organise food and drink for your guests. We can do anything from vegan snacks to a formal sit-down dinner. Whether you choose from our exciting menu or you want something a little more bespoke, we’ll do our best to get it for you.

Drinks reception, awards dinner, film preview or product launch – whatever you’re doing, we can get you the right food and drink.

We have an exciting menu for you to choose from, but we can also design something bespoke for your event. Past examples include a fully vegan buffet and a cake in a client’s corporate colours. 

Our in-house chefs are used to dealing with all sorts of special requests. From clean eating to allergies, we’ve got it covered.

We know how important your event is to you. Whether it’s stand-up snacks or a sit-down black-tie dinner, we’ll do everything we can to make your event memorable for all the right reasons.

In terms of vegan options, the food was outstanding – in particular the quinoa falafel balls. This really was very much appreciated, including simple things like having a soya milk option. Excellent work!

The Reading Room

The Reading Room is an airy exhibition space full of natural daylight. It’s ideal for everything from evening drinks to business networking sessions.

There’s a wide range of objects here from Wellcome Collection. All of them should fascinate and inspire your guests. A life mask of Beethoven. A 1920s X-ray machine made of wood, steel and rubber. A dress illustrating neural development.

We understand how important your event is to you. Whatever you’re hosting in the Reading Room, we’ll do everything we can to help you make it a success.

The Reading Room is ideal for receptions and similar events. It takes up to 160 people standing. 

The space comes with free wifi. We can supply a PA system for you if you need one.

The Reading Room has wheelchair access and an induction loop. There are adapted toilets on this level. Guests with assistance dogs are very welcome to bring them along.

You can hire the Reading Room from 18:30 seven days a week, except Thursdays.

The Williams Lounge is 10.3 m by 18.9 m. It’s 2.64 m from floor to ceiling at its highest point and 2.24 m at the lowest. The main doorway is 1.68 m wide and 2.2 m high.

There are two lockable offices leading off the lounge. You can also use these as cloakrooms or for storage. Office 1 is 3.35 m by 3.8 m and 2.2 m high. Office 2 is 3.4 m by 3.8 m and 2.2 m high.
